I think enemy scaling is a bad idea, it ruins progression, only in the endgame world all enemies should be at their peak, the challenge is whole purpose of endgame. I agree with the rest, another thing to add would be the maister skills, some of them are op and some useless,no augment support for solo play.

Was so happy hearing that we got rid of the assasin vocation just to find it plastered all over "thief" or what it should had been a better aproach to strider IMO. Yes 12 years have passed since the game's original release, but most likely they worked at this game presumably or argueably for about 3 or even 2 years, CAPCOM has way more IPs and Hideaki Itsuno is in charge of way more things other than DD.

Magic Archer can handle metal golems by using their vortex skill to suck up that faraway sigil and then immolate to damage it (hard to reach with jump attacks, but the burning aura can reach it easily enough when jumping)

I just went back to playing DDDA. DD2 has good things about it but overall it just makes me miss DD1. DD2 just changed to much of what I like about DD1.

Feels alot like they made the combat in DD2 easier to speal to a larger audience. So done with slow enemies. I want to try in every fight, i want to have to out menuver and pull out all the stops. Be rewarded for exploiting weaknessess of each enemy. No idea what happened to DD2.

Because it is just a remake, I honestly believe the team that made dragon's dogma are not the same as the ones that worked on the remake,after playing dragon's dogma for years then we get this remake, it just feels like a whole different team worked on the remake. The remake just feels different.
